 Abu Dhabi Mubadala acquired stake in South Korean e-commerce firm for $23 million

With 78,000 employees, Coupang is an e-commerce company based in Seoul and is South Korea's first marketplace and largest online retailer. (Founded in 2017, the Mubadala Investment is one of the Abu Dhabi government's sovereign wealth funds. It invests in aerospace, metals and mining, renewable energy, real estate, utilities, defense all over the world)

 Abu Dhabi investment firm Mubadala helping Sony for EMI bid

sonymybadala.jpgSony has reportedly secured financing from Abu Dhabi’s investment fund for EMI as second-round bids for the UK music company came in on Wednesday, according to be people close to Citibank’s $3.5 billion to $4 billion auction.

With Mubadala’s backing and the backing of investment bank Raine, Sony can better compete with other bidders that include Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group, the FT said.

 UAE investor Mubadala to take full control of John Buck real estate venture

Mubadala owns 24.9 percent of the parent company "John Buck Company", a property investment, development and management firm based in Chicago.

 Mubadala GE Capital reaches $2 billion mark in commitments in first year

Licensed in January 2010 by the UAE Central Bank, Mubadala GE Capital provides Energy Financing Solutions, Healthcare Financing Solutions and Aerospace & Transportation Financing.

 Abu Dhabi Mubadala to invest $100 million in Russian fund manager

mubadala.pngMubadala, the Abu Dhabi-based investment company, and Verno Capital, a specialist fund manager in the capital markets of Russia and the CIS, announced that Mubadala will invest $100 million into Verno managed funds.

This agreement represents Mubadala's first investment in the Russian market.

The hotel will be operated by Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, of which Mubadala is a 50% shareholder. Due to open in December 2010, this 61-key property will be the first Viceroy to open outside of the Americas and follows the recent launches of Viceroy Miami, Viceroy Snowmass in Colorado and Viceroy Anguilla in the Caribbean.
