UAE Investors MawaridMawarid Finance, The Islamic finance company based in UAE, is looking to acquire stakes in firms in Jordan, Qatar and India, according to Emirates Business 24|7.

Although they prefer to invest in the Islamic finance sector, they consider other sectors as well. For example they have property investments in Germany and the UK, and telecom investment through Etisalat Misr.

They have recently been quite active in tie-ups with local governments like Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah to help them in their SME financing activities.
