The Register is reporting, via TechCrunch, that Facebook CFO Gideon Yu was in Dubai this week to explore fundraising opportunities.

They have also mentioned a name as potential investor: Dubai International Capital with investments in Travelodge and some other announced investments. (We have contacted our friends at DIC for more details and will update if more details.)

So who has invested in Facebook so far? Here is a list:

Peter Thiel $0.5m
Accel Partners $12.7m
Greylock, Meritech Capital Partners, The Founders Fund $27.5m
European Founders Fund $15m
Li Ka-shing $120m

Dubai is certainly missing here …
