World Economic Forum Coming to Dubai
Finally the World Economic Forum, or Davos as most of us know by the name of the location of its annual meeting, is coming to Dubai in November 2008.
Is it going to be another meeting, like their regular regional meetings that are held in different regions throughout the year? Apparently not.
This one's going to be an "Inaugural Summit on the Global Agenda". According to their announcement, 700 invitation-only participants will aim to find solutions to the world's most pressing challenges, select top 10 breakthrough ideas for improving the state of the world, and then present the outcomes at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2009 in Davos for further discussion and action.
Interested? You can follow the World Economic Forum's announcements on their official Twitter account: twitter.com/davos, or in a more classic fashion from their website.
