|| The $3.2b Egyptian Investment Bank Buying a Tenth of $61m British Bank

EFG-Hermes, the Egypt-based investment bank (which has a market cap of ~$3.2 billion) has acquired 9.97% of Panmure Gordon & Co, the AIM-listed investment bank based in London (which has a market cap of ~$61 million).

The Egyptian bank is 24 years old. The British bank is 132 years old.
